Dr. Susan Murphy
Nevada City veterinarian, Dr. Susan Murphy at Four Paws Animal Clinic is thrilled to have just celebrated the 1st anniversary of her new clinic! Our Open House was a great success. Thank you to all who came and showed their support! Our practice is growing in leaps and bounds, but not so much that we will ever lose the close relationships with our clients and patients that we so treasure . Our commitment to you is to always do our best to provide excellence in wellness, illnes and surgical care for patients, build close, positive relationships with clients, and to provide education and empowerment to clients and staff in a calm, comfortable, healing environment.
After selling Best Friends Animal Clinic five years ago, Dr. Murphy spent time gaining new knowledge and skills at conferences and doing relief work at other clinics. Some of her most rewarding days were volunteering for the Rural Area Veterinary Services (RAVS) program of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), including a trip to the San Carlos Apache Reservation in Arizona where she helped care for the animals and train veterinary students in surgery, anesthesia and medicine. Eventually, she realized she missed the close relationships she had developed with her clients and decided to open Four Paws Animal Clinic where she will continue to provide compassionate, up to date pet care using the best new techniques and equipment available in the science and art of veterinary medicine.
Four Paws Animal Clinic is a full-service animal hospital whose mission is to provide compassionate care and support for all our 4 and 2 legged friends. We provide complete medical, dental, surgical and imaging services, including ultrasound as well as deluxe cat boarding.
